Timeline

Navigate your video visually with the multi-track timeline — video, audio, B-roll, effects, SFX, and clips.

Multi-Track Timeline

The timeline at the bottom of the editor gives you a visual overview of your entire project. It shows all editing layers stacked vertically.

Timeline

Tracks

The timeline has six tracks, displayed top to bottom:

Video Track

Shows the main video content with segment labels. Orange blocks represent kept segments — gaps between them are where cuts have been made. Each block is labeled with the segment's starting text.

Audio Track

Displays the audio waveform, making it easy to identify speech patterns, pauses, and volume levels at a glance.

B-Roll Track

Blue/teal blocks show where stock footage B-roll has been placed. Each block is labeled with its search query (e.g., "software development team", "video editing suite"). B-roll plays over the main video at these timestamps.

Effects Track

Color-coded blocks show applied visual effects:

  • Purple blocks for color effects (e.g., Grayscale)
  • Green blocks for lighting effects (e.g., Light Leak)
  • Pink blocks for stylistic effects (e.g., Duotone)

Each block is labeled with the effect name and covers the duration it's applied.

SFX Track

Shows sound effects placed on the timeline. You can drag SFX from the library or use Auto Sound Design to let AI place them automatically.

Clips Track

Orange blocks represent AI-generated viral clips — short highlights extracted from your video. Each clip shows its title and duration.

Timeline Controls

At the bottom-left of the timeline:
